LBRP & Exorcism of Obsessive Thought

have a question concering the sequence one takes in this ritual that is taught in the First Lecture. Is this the sequence of events if one is to project the thought or form to be banished?

Perform the Rite of Qabalistic Cross

Sign of the Enterer -Projection of Object or thought to be banished

Sign of Silence

then

LBRP -banishing

and closing with the Rite of Qabalistic Cross

Please provide for me a simple understanding of the sequence. Thank you for your time,

L.V.X.

Ave,
I think I understand what youre asking about, and if so, then yes that was the sequence given to banish thoughts, etc. Qabalistic Cross followed by forming an idea of what it is you want to banish, Sign of the Enterer until the image is "pushed" outside the aura followed by Sign of Silence. Then banish the image from you by continuing LBRP. I have to admit though, I remember reading this somewhere but I cant say which book I read it in.

You could also "trap" the imagined form inside the middle of the pentagram you draw and then send it away to oblivion with the Projection Sign, without the need for an entire LBRP (though the latter may also be employed). Experimentation in this area may reveal the most appropriate method for the individual.

Either way it is important to give the obsessive thought, etc. an actual form - for example, to deal with anger a little fiery creature with an aggressive face could be imagined before banishing appropriately.
